Privacy Policy

Last updated September 7, 2026

Template — needs review before you publish. These pages were drafted to cover the disclosures a small California service business and A2P 10DLC carrier registration typically require. They are not legal advice and have not been reviewed by an attorney. Have counsel check them against how you actually collect and use data.

NyteSystems ("we", "us") builds and manages websites and customer-communication systems for businesses on California's Central Coast. This policy explains what we collect from visitors to nytesystems.com and from people who contact us, and what we do with it.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or health information. Please do not send those to us.

2. How we use it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. SMS and text messaging

Texting is our main way of working with clients, so this section matters. Please read it.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who need it to run our business, under contracts that limit them to that purpose:

PurposeWhat they receive
Website, CRM and messaging platformContact details, message history, appointments
Telephone and SMS carriersPhone number and message content, to deliver it
Email deliveryEmail address and message content
Payment processingName, billing contact, transaction amount
AnalyticsUsage and device data, where allowed

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients or the public. If our business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction; we will post notice here first.

5. Cookies and tracking

See our Cookie Policy for the detail on what we set and how to control it.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within about 24 months. Client records are kept for the life of the engagement and then for as long as tax, accounting and contract-limitation rules require — generally seven years. Backups age out on their own cycle.

7. Your California privacy rights

California residents may request to know what personal information we hold, to receive a copy, to correct it, and to have it deleted. You may also ask us to limit the use of sensitive personal information — though as noted above, we do not collect the categories that trigger it.

To make a request, email support@nytesystems.com or text (805) 590-0411. We will verify your identity by contacting you through a channel already on file, and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights — no price change, no service change.

Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not offer a "Do Not Sell or Share" link. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where our platform supports them.

8. How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to client systems is limited to people who need it and is protected by multi-factor authentication. Payment card data never touches our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as California law requires.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not direct them to children under 16 and do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We will update this page and change the date above when this policy changes. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.
